Creating product videos for Amazon FBA can be time-consuming and expensive. But with AI video generators, you can produce high-quality videos in minutes. However, not all AI-generated videos meet Amazon's standards. This guide provides a practical quality checklist and a step-by-step workflow using an AI video studio to ensure your videos are crisp, compliant, and conversion-focused.

Why Use an AI Video Generator for Amazon FBA?

Traditional video production requires cameras, actors, and editing software. For Amazon sellers, this is often overkill. AI video generators let you turn a simple product image or text description into a professional-looking video. They are ideal for creating product demos, lifestyle clips, and ads for Amazon Sponsored Brands or social media.

But quality varies. A poor AI video can look uncanny or fail to highlight your product's key features. That's why you need a checklist to evaluate every output before uploading.

Step-by-Step Workflow: Creating and Checking Your AI Video

Step 1: Start with a High-Quality Product Image or Detailed Prompt

The foundation of a good AI video is a clear input. If you're using image-to-video, upload a high-resolution product photo (at least 1000x1000 pixels) with a clean background. If you're using text-to-video, write a detailed prompt that includes the product's name, key features, and desired action.

Prompt example: "A sleek stainless steel water bottle with a leak-proof lid, rotating on a turntable, with soft studio lighting and a white background."

Step 2: Choose the Right Model and Settings in the AI Video Studio

In the AI Video Studio, you'll have access to multiple models like Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, and Runway. Each model has different strengths. For product videos, you want a model that handles motion well and maintains product consistency. Check the live model selector for current options and parameters like duration and aspect ratio. For Amazon, a square (1:1) or vertical (9:16) format often works best.

Step 3: Generate and Review the First Draft

Generate your video and review it carefully. Use the following quality checklist:

Product accuracy: Does the product look exactly like the original? Any distortion or morphing?
Motion smoothness: Are movements fluid, or are there jumps and stutters?
Background stability: Does the background stay consistent, or does it flicker?
Text rendering: If any text appears, is it spelled correctly and legible?
Lighting and shadows: Are they realistic and consistent?

If any of these fail, you may need to adjust your prompt or try a different model.

Step 4: Iterate with Variations and Effects

Don't settle for the first draft. Use the AI Video Studio's features to iterate. You can apply effects, adjust motion control, or extend the video. For example, if the video is too short, use the extend feature to add more seconds. If you want a zoom effect, use motion control.

Step 5: Upscale and Enhance for Final Quality

Once you're happy with the content, use the upscaler to increase resolution. This is crucial for Amazon, where high-resolution videos are preferred. Also, consider enhancing the video to improve color and sharpness.

Step 6: Export and Test on Amazon

Export your final video and upload it to your Amazon listing. But before that, test it on a small screen and a large screen to ensure it looks good. Check that the video loads quickly and that the key message is clear within the first few seconds.

Reusable Prompts and Parameter Tips

For a product demo: "Close-up of [product] being used by a hand, showing [specific feature], with a clean background and natural lighting."
For a lifestyle clip: "[Product] on a kitchen counter with fresh ingredients around it, warm morning light, shallow depth of field."
For a 360-degree view: "[Product] rotating 360 degrees on a turntable, seamless loop, neutral gray background."

Parameter tips:

Use a 1:1 aspect ratio for Amazon main images and 9:16 for Sponsored Brands video ads.
Keep videos under 15 seconds for Amazon, as they auto-play and loop.
If you need a longer video, use the extend feature rather than generating a new one.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Ignoring aspect ratio: Amazon supports specific aspect ratios; using the wrong one can crop your video.
Overcomplicating the prompt: Too many details can confuse the AI, leading to artifacts.
Skipping the upscale: Low-resolution videos look unprofessional and may be rejected by Amazon.
Not testing on multiple devices: What looks good on your computer may look bad on a phone.
Forgetting to check text: AI-generated text is often misspelled; always review.

AI Text/Image to Video: Generate videos from text or images directly.
