LinkedIn ads demand a different creative approach than other social platforms. Your video needs to feel professional, concise, and value-driven—while still stopping the scroll in a busy feed. With an AI video generator, you can produce multiple ad variations quickly, but the quality depends heavily on the prompts you feed it. This guide walks you through building a practical prompt library for LinkedIn ads and using it inside the AI Video Studio.

Why a Prompt Library Matters for LinkedIn Ads

A prompt library is more than a list of text strings. It’s a repeatable system that turns your best-performing ad angles into templates. Instead of starting from scratch each time, you can swap in new product details, hooks, or CTAs while keeping the structure that works. For LinkedIn, this is especially useful because the audience expects a certain tone—professional, data-aware, and solution-oriented. A well-organized library helps you maintain that tone across every video you generate.

Step-by-Step Workflow in the AI Video Studio

Step 1: Define Your Ad Objective and Audience

Before you write any prompt, clarify what you want the video to achieve. Are you driving webinar sign-ups, promoting a whitepaper, or building brand awareness? Your audience matters too: a CTO will respond to different language than an HR manager. Write down your primary goal and one or two audience personas. This will guide every prompt you create.

Step 2: Open the AI Video Studio and Choose Your Model

Go to the AI Video Studio on FreeVideoGenerator. You’ll see a model selector with options like Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Runway, Wan, Seedance, and more. Each model has slightly different strengths—some are better at realistic human motion, others excel at text rendering. For LinkedIn ads, you’ll often want a model that handles faces and corporate settings well. Check the live model selector for current availability and parameters, as these can change.

Step 3: Craft Your Base Prompt Using the Library Structure

A strong LinkedIn ad prompt typically includes:

Subject: Who or what is in the video (e.g., a professional presenter, a product close-up).
Setting: Office, conference, abstract background—keep it clean and corporate.
Action: What is happening (e.g., presenting a chart, typing on a laptop).
Style: Realistic, cinematic, or sleek corporate animation.
Mood: Confident, innovative, trustworthy.

Here’s an example base prompt:

A confident female presenter in a modern office, wearing business attire, gestures toward a large screen showing a rising sales graph. Cinematic lighting, shallow depth of field, realistic style. Mood: professional and optimistic. Text overlay: "Boost Your ROI by 30%" in bold white font at the bottom.

Step 4: Generate and Review the First Draft

Paste your prompt into the AI Video Studio and generate a video. Review it critically: Is the message clear? Does the tone match LinkedIn? Does the text render correctly? Most AI videos need a few iterations. Don’t settle for the first output—use it as a starting point.

Step 5: Iterate with Variations

Change one element at a time to build your library. For example, keep the same base prompt but swap the hook line, change the presenter’s gender, or alter the background. This gives you a set of variations to A/B test. Save the prompts that produce the best results in a document or spreadsheet for future use.

Step 6: Use Link to Video for Product Pages

If you have a product page or landing page that’s already optimized, try the Link to Video feature. It can turn a URL into an ad-ready video, which is handy for LinkedIn ads that drive to a specific offer. This is a separate tool, but it complements your prompt library by providing a quick way to generate videos from existing content.

Reusable Prompts for LinkedIn Ads

Here are three prompt templates you can adapt for your own products:

1. The Problem-Solution Hook

A professional man in a suit sits at a desk, looking frustrated at a spreadsheet. The camera zooms in on the screen, then cuts to a clean animation of the problem being solved. Style: realistic with a touch of motion graphics. Mood: relieved and satisfied. Text overlay: "Stop Wasting Time on Manual Reporting."

2. The Data-Driven Insight

A diverse team in a bright conference room watches a presenter point to a large screen with a bar chart. The chart animates upward. Style: corporate documentary. Mood: data-driven and confident. Text overlay: "See How Our Clients Cut Costs by 40%."

3. The Testimonial Style

A middle-aged executive speaks directly to the camera in a modern office, smiling. She says: "We switched to this platform and saw results in weeks." Style: realistic, close-up, shallow depth of field. Mood: authentic and trustworthy. No text overlay.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Being too vague: Prompts like "a business video" produce generic results. Be specific about the setting, action, and mood.
Ignoring text rendering: AI models often struggle with text. If your ad needs on-screen text, keep it short and test different phrasings.
Forgetting aspect ratio: LinkedIn supports various formats, but vertical or square often perform better in feed. Check the model’s supported aspect ratios in the live selector.
Not iterating: The first generation is rarely perfect. Plan to generate multiple versions and refine your prompts.

AI Text/Image to Video: If you have a static image or a script, this tool can turn it into a video. It’s great for repurposing existing assets.
Link to Video: Turn a product URL into an ad-ready video automatically—useful for quick iterations.
Pricing: Check the latest plans and credit costs to choose the right tier for your ad volume.
