How do I know which direction to shift?+

If subtitles appear before speech, use a positive SRT time shift (+). If they appear after speech, use a negative time shift (−). Start with ±0.5s or ±1s presets, preview, then fine-tune.

Can timestamps go below zero?+

Cues are clamped at 0:00:00.000 after the time shift so nothing becomes invalid. If cues disappear, try a smaller negative offset.
