AI video
Newsletter brands live on attention. Every week, you compete with hundreds of emails, and static images just don't cut it anymore. In 2026, the winning move is adding AI video effects to your newsletter content—without hiring a video editor or blowing your budget. This guide shows you exactly how to do it using Van Gogh Studio's AI Video Studio, a multi-model platform that turns text, images, or even product links into polished videos with 100+ effects.
Video in email can boost click-through rates and engagement, but producing custom video has always been slow and expensive. AI video generation changes that. With tools like Van Gogh Studio, you can create short, eye-catching clips that showcase products, explain concepts, or add personality to your newsletter—all in minutes. The key is using the right effects to make your content feel native to your brand, not like a generic AI output.
Before you start, decide which input works best for your newsletter:
For most newsletter brands, image-to-video is the sweet spot because you already have brand assets. But if you're promoting a product page, Link-to-Video saves even more time.
Here's a practical workflow using Van Gogh Studio's AI Video Studio. You'll need a free account—new users get 21 signup credits, no credit card required.
Go to the AI Video Studio and start a new project. Choose your input type: text, image, or link. For this example, we'll use an image of your product or a branded graphic.
Describe the motion and effect you want. Be specific about the style, camera movement, and mood. For instance: "A slow zoom on a coffee mug, steam rising, warm morning light, cinematic." The more detail, the better the result.
Van Gogh Studio gives you access to multiple AI models (like Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, and more). Choose the one that fits your brand's aesthetic. You can also adjust parameters like duration and resolution, but keep in mind that higher settings use more credits. Check the live model selector for current options.
After generating your base video, you can apply one of the 100+ effects in the AI Video Studio. These can transform the look—think film grain, color grading, or stylized transitions. Pick effects that match your newsletter's visual identity.
Hit generate. The video will be processed, and you can preview it. If it's not perfect, tweak your prompt or try a different model. Don't be afraid to iterate—that's part of the creative process.
Once you're happy, export the video. Most email clients support GIFs or MP4s, but check your newsletter platform's specs. You can also use the video as a thumbnail that links to a full video on your site.
To save time, keep a few go-to prompts:
Parameter tip: For newsletters, shorter videos (5-10 seconds) work best. They load faster and keep attention. Also, consider using the upscaler to improve quality if you plan to use the video in a prominent spot.
