AI video
Creating video ads for Facebook can be time-consuming and expensive, especially if you need to appear on camera or hire actors. AI avatar videos offer a practical alternative: you can generate a talking avatar that delivers your ad script in a natural voice, without recording a single frame. And with free credits, you can test this workflow before committing to a paid plan.
In this guide, you'll learn how to use the AI Avatar feature on Van Gogh Studio (also known as FreeVideoGenerator) to create Facebook ad videos, from script to final export. We'll cover the steps, share reusable prompts, and highlight common pitfalls to avoid.
Traditional video ads require equipment, editing skills, and often a human presenter. AI avatars remove those barriers. You can generate a realistic talking head that reads your ad copy, with multiple voice options to match your brand tone. This is especially useful for:
Compared to hiring actors or using stock footage, AI avatars are faster and more flexible. You can iterate on scripts and visuals without reshooting.
Follow these steps to create your first AI avatar video for Facebook ads using free credits.
Go to freevideogenerator.io and create a new account. New accounts receive 21 signup credits – no credit card required. These credits are enough to generate a few videos, so you can test the workflow before upgrading.
Once logged in, find the AI Avatar tool. It's part of the AI Video Studio suite. Click on it to open the avatar creation interface.
Your script is the heart of the video. Keep it concise and conversational. For a Facebook ad, aim for 15–30 seconds of spoken content. Here's a template:
"Tired of [problem]? Meet [solution]. With [key benefit], you can [outcome]. Try it today and see the difference."
You can paste your script directly into the text field. The avatar will read it aloud.
The platform offers a variety of avatars – different genders, ages, and styles. Select one that fits your brand. Then pick a voice from the available options. You can preview the voice to ensure it sounds natural.
Before generating, check the settings:
Once you're happy, click Generate. The video will be processed, and you'll see the credit cost before confirming. Typical standard usage is about 10 credits per video, but the exact cost depends on the model, duration, resolution, and output type.
After generation, preview the video. If it looks good, download it. Then upload it to Facebook Ads Manager as a video creative. You can also use the platform's other tools to enhance it further.
While the AI Avatar tool doesn't require complex prompts, you can optimize your script for better results:
For parameters, start with the default settings. If you need a specific aspect ratio, select it before generating. Remember that higher resolution and longer duration increase credit usage.
