Link to Video Advanced Tips for

Restaurant marketing is visual. You want to show sizzling dishes, cozy interiors, and happy customers — but you don't have time to shoot and edit video for every promo. That's where Link to Video comes in. Instead of starting from scratch, you paste a URL (your menu page, a dish page, or a special offer landing page) and the AI generates ad-ready video creatives from that content. This guide walks through advanced tips to get the most out of Link to Video for restaurant promos, including a step-by-step workflow, prompt ideas, and common pitfalls to avoid.

Why Link to Video Beats Manual Video Creation for Restaurants

You have two main approaches to creating promo videos: manual editing (shooting clips, cutting, adding text) or using an AI tool that generates video from a URL. Manual editing gives you full control but eats hours. Link to Video automates the heavy lifting: it analyzes your page's images, text, and layout, then produces a video that highlights your restaurant's key selling points. It's especially useful for seasonal menus, happy hour specials, or event promos — you can update the URL and regenerate a fresh video in minutes.

Step 1: Prepare Your Landing Page

Link to Video works best when your page is clean and focused. For a restaurant promo, create a dedicated landing page (or use an existing menu page) that includes:

High-quality food photos (bright, appetizing)
Short, punchy descriptions (e.g., "Wood-fired Margherita – $12")
A clear call-to-action (e.g., "Order Now" or "Reserve a Table")

Avoid cluttered pages with too many sections or pop-ups; the AI will pick up the most prominent elements.

Step 2: Access Link to Video on Van Gogh Studio

Go to freevideogenerator.io/link-to-video and sign in. If you're new, you'll get 21 signup credits — no credit card required. Click on "Link to Video" from the dashboard.

Step 3: Paste Your URL and Choose Settings

Paste your restaurant page URL into the input field. Then select your preferred model (availability varies; check the live selector), video duration, and aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Instagram Reels). You can also add a text prompt to guide the AI — for example, "Show the pizza being pulled from the oven with steam rising."

Step 4: Generate and Review

Click "Generate." The AI will process your URL and produce a video. Typical standard usage is around 10 credits per video, but actual cost depends on model, duration, resolution, and output type. Review the output — if it's not perfect, tweak your prompt or adjust the URL and regenerate.

Step 5: Enhance with Effects and Extend (Optional)

Once you have a base video, you can use the AI Video Studio to add effects (like slow motion or zoom), extend the video, or upscale it for higher resolution. This is where you can add a logo or text overlay for branding.

Step 6: Export and Share

When you're happy, export the video in your desired format and resolution. Then share it across your social channels, embed it on your website, or use it in paid ads.

Reusable Prompts and Parameter Tips

Prompt for a dish highlight: "Close-up of the signature burger with cheese melting, background softly blurred."
Prompt for ambiance: "Warm, cozy interior with candlelight, customers laughing, soft jazz in background."
Prompt for a special offer: "Text overlay: 'Happy Hour 4-7 PM – 50% off appetizers' with a montage of drinks and small plates."

Parameter tips:

For social media, use 9:16 vertical format.
For website hero videos, use 16:9.
Keep prompts concise; the AI works best with clear, visual descriptions.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Cluttered pages: If your URL has too many elements, the AI may pick up irrelevant content. Keep the page focused.
Low-quality images: Blurry or dark photos will result in poor video. Use high-resolution, well-lit images.
Ignoring the prompt: The prompt is your creative control. Don't leave it blank — guide the AI toward your vision.
Not checking model availability: Different models have different strengths. Check the live model selector to see what's available for your plan.
Link to Video is perfect for seasonal updates. Don't reuse the same video for months — regenerate with a fresh URL or prompt.
