Free AI Video Generator with Talking Avatar for Agencies: Step-by-Step Guide

Agencies constantly need to produce client videos: product explainers, social ads, training modules, or personalized outreach. Hiring actors, booking studios, and editing takes days. A free AI video generator with a talking avatar can turn a script into a presenter-led video in minutes—without a camera or crew. This guide walks you through a practical workflow using Van Gogh Studio (also known as FreeVideoGenerator) to create avatar videos for your clients, even on a tight budget.

Why Use an AI Avatar for Client Work?

Traditional video production is expensive and slow. AI avatars offer a faster alternative: you type a script, choose a voice, and the avatar speaks it. For agencies, this means:

• Speed: Generate a draft in minutes, not days.
• Scalability: Produce multiple versions for A/B testing without reshoots.
• Cost control: Use free credits to test ideas before committing to paid production.

However, not all avatar tools are equal. Some lock you into a single model or charge per render. Van Gogh Studio gives you access to multiple AI models in one subscription, including avatar generation, so you can compare outputs and pick the best for each client.

Step-by-Step: Creating a Talking Avatar Video

Here’s how to create a talking avatar video for a client using Van Gogh Studio’s AI Avatar feature. The exact steps may vary slightly as the platform evolves, but the core workflow remains the same.

Step 1: Sign Up and Get Your Free Credits

Go to freevideogenerator.io and create a new account. You’ll receive 21 signup credits immediately—no credit card required. This is enough to generate a few test videos and see if the tool fits your agency’s needs.

Step 2: Open the AI Avatar Tool

Navigate to the AI Avatar section (direct link: freevideogenerator.io/ai-avatar). This is where you’ll create your talking avatar video.

Step 3: Write or Paste Your Script

Write a clear, conversational script. Keep sentences short and natural. For example, if you’re making a product explainer for a client, your script might be:

"Meet your new favorite productivity app. It syncs across all your devices, so you can work anywhere. Try it free today."

You can also use a prompt to generate a script (see the prompts section below).

Step 4: Choose an Avatar and Voice

Select an avatar from the available options. You’ll also pick a voice—many voice options are available, from warm and friendly to professional and authoritative. Choose one that matches your client’s brand tone.

Step 5: Adjust Settings and Generate

Set your desired video parameters (duration, resolution, etc.) if available. Then hit generate. The platform will process your request using the selected AI model. Generation time varies, so be patient. You’ll see the result in your project library.

Step 6: Review and Refine

Watch the generated video. Check lip-sync accuracy, pronunciation, and overall feel. If something’s off, tweak the script or voice and regenerate. You can also use the platform’s video editing tools to add effects, captions, or background music.

Step 7: Export and Deliver

Once you’re happy, export the video in the desired format and deliver it to your client. You can also use the Link to Video feature to turn a product URL into an ad-ready video, or the UGC Ad Video generator for social ads—all within the same platform.

Reusable Prompts and Parameter Tips

To speed up your workflow, use these prompts to generate scripts or refine your avatar videos:

• Product explainer: "Write a 30-second script introducing [product name] and its top three benefits for busy professionals."
• Social ad: "Create a punchy, benefit-driven script for a Facebook ad targeting small business owners. Include a clear call to action."
• Training video: "Draft a step-by-step script for onboarding new employees, covering [topic]. Keep it friendly and concise."

Parameter tips:

• Keep scripts under 150 words for short videos to maintain viewer attention.
• Match the avatar’s tone to your client’s brand—serious for finance, upbeat for lifestyle.
• Test different voices to see which resonates with your target audience.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

• Ignoring script quality: The avatar can only be as good as your script. Avoid jargon and long, complex sentences.
• Overlooking voice selection: A mismatched voice can ruin an otherwise great video. Listen to samples before committing.
• Not checking model availability: The platform offers multiple AI models, but not all may support avatars or specific parameters. Always check the live model selector for current options.
