Pinterest is a visual search engine, and video pins get more saves and clicks than static images. But if you're creating videos from text, you often end up with watermarked clips from free tools, which look unprofessional and hurt your brand. The solution is to use a platform that lets you generate videos from text or images without any watermark, and that's exactly what Van Gogh Studio (FreeVideoGenerator) offers. In this guide, you'll learn how to turn a simple text prompt into a clean, watermark-free video ready for Pinterest.
Watermarks distract from your content and can make your pins look like ads. Pinterest's algorithm favors high-quality, native-looking content. A watermark-free video looks more authentic, increases the chance of saves, and builds trust with your audience. Plus, when you repurpose videos across platforms, you don't want a competing brand's logo on your content.
Most free text-to-video tools either add a watermark or limit you to short, low-resolution clips. Van Gogh Studio stands out because it offers a free tier with 21 signup credits (no credit card required) and lets you generate videos without any watermark, even on the free plan. You can choose from multiple AI models like Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Runway, and more, all in one subscription. This flexibility means you can test different styles and find what works best for your Pinterest audience.
Go to Van Gogh Studio and create a free account. You'll receive 21 signup credits immediately—no credit card needed. These credits are enough to generate a few videos and test the workflow.
Navigate to the AI Text & Image to Video page. This is the core feature for turning your ideas into videos. You can start with a text prompt or upload a reference image to guide the generation.
Pinterest videos often perform well when they're vertical (9:16) and visually appealing. Write a prompt that describes the scene, style, and mood. For example: "A cozy autumn coffee shop scene, warm lighting, steam rising from a mug, cinematic, vertical composition." Be specific about the aspect ratio if you can—many models support vertical formats, but check the model selector for available options.
Select a model that suits your needs. For Pinterest, you might want a model that excels at realistic scenes or artistic styles. The platform gives you access to multiple models, so you can experiment. Adjust settings like duration and resolution if available, but keep in mind that higher resolutions may cost more credits. Typical standard usage is about 10 credits per video, but actual cost depends on model, duration, and resolution.
Click generate and wait for the video to be created. Once done, preview it. If it's not perfect, you can tweak your prompt and regenerate. The free credits let you iterate without financial pressure.
After you're satisfied, download the video. Van Gogh Studio does not add watermarks to your generated videos, so you get a clean file ready for Pinterest. You can also use the AI Video Studio to add effects, trim, or extend the video if needed.
Log into Pinterest, create a new pin, and upload your video. Write a compelling description with relevant keywords, and choose a cover image that stands out. Pin it to the appropriate board and consider scheduling it for peak times.

Parameter tips: Always check the model selector for available aspect ratios and durations. For Pinterest, choose 9:16 if possible. Use descriptive adjectives to guide the style, and mention "vertical" in your prompt to increase the chance of getting the right orientation.
