Travel agencies live and die by visuals. A static photo of a resort or a tour package can only do so much. But with AI video effects, you can turn those same product photos into dynamic, scroll-stopping videos that make travelers feel the destination before they book. This guide walks you through a practical workflow using Van Gogh Studio (FreeVideoGenerator) to transform your travel product photos into engaging video ads, social posts, and website content.

Why Use AI Video Effects for Travel Marketing?

Traditional video production is expensive and time-consuming. You need a videographer, a shoot, editing software, and hours of post-production. AI video effects change the game: you can take a single high-quality photo of a beach resort, a cruise ship, or a tour bus and animate it with subtle motion, camera pans, or even add dynamic elements like moving clouds or waves. The result is a professional-looking video that you can produce in minutes, without a big budget.

Step-by-Step Workflow: From Photo to Video

Here’s how to create AI video effects using your product photos on Van Gogh Studio (FreeVideoGenerator).

Step 1: Prepare Your Product Photos

Start with high-resolution, clear photos of your travel products. Good candidates include:

Exterior shots of resorts or hotels
Interior photos of rooms or amenities
Photos of cruise ships, tour buses, or planes
Destination shots (beaches, landmarks, cityscapes)

Make sure the photos are well-lit and in focus. The AI works best with clean, uncluttered images.

Step 2: Upload to the AI Video Studio

Go to the AI Video Studio on Van Gogh Studio. You’ll see an option to upload an image. Click it and select your photo. The interface is straightforward: you’ll see your image preview, and on the side, you can choose your video model and settings.

Step 3: Choose Your Video Model and Settings

Van Gogh Studio gives you access to multiple AI models like Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Runway, and more. The availability and parameters can vary, so check the live model selector for what’s currently offered. For travel videos, you’ll typically want a model that handles motion well. Start with the default or a popular model, and adjust the duration and resolution based on your needs. Remember, the credit cost depends on the model, duration, resolution, and output type, so keep an eye on that.

Step 4: Add Motion and Effects

This is where the magic happens. In the AI Video Studio, you can add motion control to your photo. You can set the camera to pan left or right, zoom in, or even simulate a drone flyover. For travel, a slow zoom or a gentle pan works wonders. You can also apply video effects from the 100+ available. For example, you might add a subtle “day to night” effect to show a resort at sunset, or a “rain” effect for a moody cityscape.

Step 5: Generate and Review

Once you’ve set your parameters, hit generate. The video will be processed, and you’ll get a preview. Review it for quality. If it’s not perfect, tweak the settings or try a different model. The studio is designed for iteration, so don’t be afraid to experiment.

Step 6: Download and Use

When you’re happy with the result, download the video. You can use it directly in your social media ads, on your website, or in email campaigns. The video is ready to go—no extra editing needed.

Reusable Prompts and Parameter Tips

While the AI Video Studio lets you control motion directly, you can also use text prompts to guide the effect. Here are a few prompts you can adapt:

For a beach resort: “Slow aerial drone shot over a tropical beach resort, waves gently crashing, palm trees swaying, golden hour lighting.”
For a city tour: “Dynamic pan across a historic city square, with people walking and clouds moving, cinematic color grade.”
For a cruise ship: “Smooth tracking shot along the side of a luxury cruise ship, ocean sparkling, seagulls flying.”

Parameter tips:

Use a duration of 5–10 seconds for social media ads.
Choose a resolution that matches your platform (1080p for most).
For motion, start with a slow zoom or pan—it’s more professional.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Using low-quality images: The AI can’t fix blurry or pixelated photos. Always start with the best image you have.
Overdoing effects: Too much motion or too many effects can make the video look unnatural. Keep it subtle for a premium feel.
Ignoring model differences: Not all models handle motion the same way. If one gives you a weird result, try another.
Forgetting about credits: Each video generation costs credits (typically around 10 credits per video, but it varies). Keep an eye on your balance and plan accordingly.
