Travel agencies constantly need fresh ad creatives to test on Meta and TikTok. But producing multiple UGC-style videos with creators is slow and expensive. That's where AI-generated UGC ad videos come in. With Van Gogh Studio's UGC Ad Video feature, you can generate realistic, creator-style videos in minutes, perfect for A/B testing different hooks, destinations, and offers.

Why Use AI-Generated UGC for Travel Ads?

Traditional UGC production involves hiring creators, coordinating shoots, and waiting for edits. For A/B testing, you need multiple variations quickly. AI-generated UGC lets you:

Produce several versions of an ad in minutes, not weeks.
Test different scripts, angles, and calls-to-action without extra cost.
Keep your creative pipeline agile, responding to performance data in real time.

While you can also use stock footage or animated graphics, UGC-style videos often resonate better with social audiences because they feel authentic and relatable. AI-generated UGC bridges the gap between authenticity and speed.

Step-by-Step Workflow with Van Gogh Studio

Step 1: Define Your Test Variables

Before generating anything, decide what you're testing. For a travel agency, common variables include:

Hook: The first 3 seconds (e.g., "I just booked a flight to Bali for $200!" vs. "Stop overpaying for vacations.")
Destination: Different locations (e.g., beach vs. city vs. mountains).
Offer: Discounts, package deals, or free upgrades.
Call-to-action: "Book now" vs. "Learn more" vs. "Get a quote."

Create a simple spreadsheet to track your variations and performance metrics.

Step 2: Write Scripts for Each Variation

Write short, conversational scripts (30–60 seconds). Keep them natural, as if a traveler is sharing a tip. For example:

"Okay, I just found the easiest way to plan a trip to Japan. You don't need a travel agent—just use this tool. I booked my whole itinerary in ten minutes, and I saved 30% on flights. Seriously, check it out."

Tailor each script to your test variables. You'll need one script per variation.

Step 3: Generate Your UGC Ad Video

Go to the UGC Ad Video page on Van Gogh Studio. Paste your script into the text input. You can also upload a reference image if you want a specific background or setting.

Select a model that suits your style—Van Gogh Studio gives you access to multiple AI models like Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, and more. Choose a realistic avatar that matches your target audience (e.g., a young traveler for budget trips, a family for family vacations).

Click generate. The platform will create a video of a person speaking your script, with natural gestures and expressions.

Step 4: Customize with Effects and Editing

Once generated, you can enhance your video using the AI Video Studio. Add text overlays for captions, apply filters for a consistent look, or use the video effects library to add transitions or emphasis. You can also trim the video to the optimal length for each platform.

Step 5: Export and Set Up A/B Tests

Export your videos in the required aspect ratios (e.g., 9:16 for TikTok/Reels, 1:1 for feed). Upload them to your ad platform and set up A/B tests. Make sure to change only one variable at a time to isolate what works.

Reusable Prompts and Parameter Tips

When writing scripts for UGC ad videos, keep these tips in mind:

Use first-person and present tense: "I just found..." or "You won't believe..."
Include a specific detail: "I booked a 5-star resort in Cancun for $300 a night."
End with a clear CTA: "Click the link to get your free quote."

For the video generation, you can specify the mood or setting in the prompt. For example:

"A young woman sitting on a beach, speaking to the camera, holding a smartphone, smiling, natural lighting, travel vlog style."

Remember to check the live model selector for available parameters like duration and resolution, as these may vary.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Overpromising in the script: Avoid claims like "guaranteed cheapest" unless you can back them up.
Ignoring platform specs: Each platform has different video specs; generate or edit accordingly.
Testing too many variables at once: Stick to one variable per test for clear results.
Forgetting captions: Many users watch without sound; add captions to improve engagement.

Link to Video: Turn a product or landing page URL into a video ad automatically.
AI Video Studio: Edit and enhance your generated videos with effects and motion control.
Video Effects: Add creative effects to make your ads stand out.
