Hotel marketing teams are constantly juggling property photos, booking links, and social content. Creating video ads for every room type, package, or seasonal offer can eat up hours. But there's a faster way: turn your existing hotel page URL into a video automatically. This guide walks through a practical workflow using Van Gogh Studio's Link to Video feature, so your team can produce consistent, ad-ready creatives without a dedicated video editor.

Why Link to Video Works for Hotels

Instead of starting from scratch, Link to Video pulls from a product URL—like your hotel's booking page or a specific offer page—and generates a video that highlights the key visuals and messaging. This is ideal for hotels because:

You already have high-quality images and descriptions on your site.
You need multiple video variations for different audiences (families, business travelers, couples).
You want to scale ad creative without hiring a video team.

Compared to traditional methods (filming on-site or outsourcing), Link to Video is faster and more cost-effective. It also ensures your video matches your current web content, reducing the risk of outdated offers.

Step-by-Step Workflow for Your Team

Step 1: Prepare Your Hotel Page

Choose the page you want to turn into a video. It could be your homepage, a specific room type, or a seasonal package. Make sure the page is live and contains clear, high-quality images and concise copy. The better the page, the better the video.

Step 2: Access Link to Video in Van Gogh Studio

Log in to your Van Gogh Studio account. From the dashboard, select Link to Video. You'll see a field to paste your URL. If you don't have an account, sign up for free—new users get 21 credits, no credit card required.

Step 3: Paste Your URL and Adjust Settings

Paste the hotel page URL into the input. Then choose your preferred model and settings. The platform offers multiple AI models (like Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, and more), but availability may vary—check the live selector for current options. You can also set aspect ratio, duration, and other parameters, though exact options depend on the model.

Step 4: Generate and Review

Click generate. The video will be created based on the content on your page. Review the output. You might need to tweak your page or adjust settings to get the best result. Remember, typical usage is around 10 credits per video, but actual cost depends on model and settings.

Step 5: Edit and Enhance (Optional)

If you want to polish the video, use Van Gogh Studio's AI Video Studio. You can add effects, extend the video, or upscale it for higher quality. This step is optional but can make your ad stand out.

Step 6: Export and Distribute

Once you're happy, export the video. Use it across your channels: social media ads, email campaigns, or your website. Since the video is generated from your URL, it's easy to update by re-running the process when your offers change.

Reusable Prompts and Parameter Tips

While Link to Video doesn't require a text prompt, you can influence the output by optimizing your page content. Here are some tips:

Use descriptive page titles and meta descriptions that highlight key selling points (e.g., "Oceanfront Suite with Balcony").
Ensure your images are high-resolution and visually appealing—the AI will use them as the main visuals.
Keep copy concise and benefit-focused so the video text overlays are clear.

If you're using other video generation features, you can craft prompts like: "A cinematic aerial view of a luxury resort pool at sunset, with guests relaxing." But for Link to Video, your page is the prompt.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Using a page with low-quality images – The video will reflect your page's visual quality. Invest in good photography.
Overloading the page with text – Too much text can make the video cluttered. Keep it clean.
Ignoring aspect ratio settings – Different platforms need different formats (e.g., 9:16 for Stories, 16:9 for YouTube). Adjust accordingly.
Forgetting to update videos when offers change – Re-run Link to Video whenever you update your page to keep ads current.
