If you run a WooCommerce store, you know that product videos can boost engagement and conversions. But creating videos for every product is time-consuming and expensive. That's where AI text-to-video tools come in. With the right settings, you can turn your product descriptions into compelling videos in minutes. This guide walks you through the exact export settings and workflow using Van Gogh Studio (FreeVideoGenerator) to create WooCommerce-ready videos.

Why Use AI Text-to-Video for WooCommerce?

Traditional video production requires cameras, actors, and editing software. AI text-to-video lets you generate a video from a simple text prompt or a product image. For WooCommerce, this means you can quickly produce videos for new arrivals, bestsellers, or seasonal promotions without leaving your desk. The key is to set up your export settings correctly so the video fits your store's layout and platform requirements.

Step-by-Step Workflow for WooCommerce Video Export

Step 1: Prepare Your Product Information

Before you generate a video, gather the essential details:

Product name and key features
Unique selling points (e.g., material, size, benefits)
Target audience or use case
Call-to-action (e.g., "Shop Now")

Write a concise text prompt that includes these elements. For example: "A sleek stainless steel water bottle with a leak-proof lid, perfect for gym and travel. Highlight its durability and 24-hour cold retention."

Step 2: Access the AI Text & Image to Video Tool

Go to AI Text & Image to Video on FreeVideoGenerator. You'll need to create a free account to get 21 signup credits—no credit card required. This gives you enough to test a few videos.

Step 3: Choose Your Input Type

You can generate from text, image, or both. For WooCommerce, using a product image as a reference can produce more accurate results. Upload a high-quality product photo, then write a prompt that describes the motion or scene you want.

Step 4: Configure Export Settings

This is the critical part. Look for the following settings in the tool:

Aspect Ratio: Choose 16:9 for YouTube or website hero videos, 1:1 for Instagram feeds, or 9:16 for Stories/Reels. For WooCommerce product pages, 16:9 or 1:1 usually works best.
Resolution: Select 1080p for crisp quality. Higher resolutions may cost more credits.
Duration: Keep it short—5 to 15 seconds is ideal for product videos. Longer videos cost more credits.
Model: The platform offers multiple models (e.g., Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1). Availability and parameters vary, so check the live model selector for current options.

Step 5: Generate and Review

Click generate and wait for the video to process. Review the output. If it doesn't match your vision, tweak the prompt or settings and regenerate. You can also use the AI Video Studio to add effects or adjust motion control.

Step 6: Export and Upload to WooCommerce

Once satisfied, download the video file. In your WooCommerce dashboard, go to the product page and add the video via the product gallery or a custom field. You can also embed it using a video block in your page builder.

Reusable Prompts and Parameter Tips

Here are three prompts you can adapt for different products:

Feature Highlight: "Close-up of [product] showing [key feature], with smooth rotation and soft lighting. Background is clean white."
Lifestyle Scene: "A person using [product] in a [setting], with natural motion and realistic shadows. Emphasize ease of use."
Promotional: "Dynamic camera movement around [product], with text overlay 'Limited Offer' and a call-to-action button."

Parameter tips:

Use 16:9 for desktop, 1:1 for social feeds.
Keep duration under 15 seconds to maintain attention.
If you need a longer video, use the Video Extend feature to add more seconds.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Ignoring Aspect Ratio: If you upload a 16:9 video to a square product image slot, it may be cropped. Always match the aspect ratio to your placement.
Overloading the Prompt: Too many details can confuse the AI. Stick to 2-3 key features.
Skipping the Review: Always preview the video before uploading. AI can produce unexpected results.
Forgetting the CTA: Include a clear call-to-action in your prompt or add text overlay later.

After generating your base video, you can polish it with these tools:

AI Video Studio: Add effects, transitions, and motion control.
Video Extend: Lengthen your video to fit longer slots.
Pricing: Check current plans and credit costs.
