Link to Video for Busy Marketers in

En esta página

If you run dropshipping ads, you know the grind: sourcing products, writing hooks, and then waiting hours for video edits that may not even convert. The bottleneck is usually video production. You need fresh creatives for every product, every angle, and every ad set. But you don't have a video team, and you definitely don't have time to learn complex editing software.

That's where Link to Video comes in. Instead of starting from scratch, you paste a product URL and let AI generate ad-ready video creatives automatically. It's not magic—it's a practical workflow that saves hours per product. Here's how to use it effectively for dropshipping, step by step.

Why Link to Video Beats Manual Editing for Dropshipping

You have two main options for creating product videos: manual editing or AI generation. Manual editing gives you full control but eats up hours per video. For a dropshipping store with dozens of products, that's not scalable. AI generation, specifically Link to Video, turns a product page into a video in minutes. It's not about replacing your creativity—it's about automating the repetitive parts so you can test more creatives faster.

Link to Video is especially useful for busy marketers because it removes the need to gather assets, write scripts, or storyboard. You just provide the URL, and the AI extracts the product info and visuals to build a video that highlights the product's features and benefits.

Step-by-Step: Turn a Product URL into a Video

Here's a practical workflow to get from product URL to ad-ready video in under 10 minutes.

Step 1: Choose a Product with a Clean, Detailed Page

Not all product pages are equal. For best results, pick a product page that has:

High-quality images (multiple angles)
Clear product name and description
Key benefits listed (e.g., material, size, use case)

Avoid pages with messy layouts, pop-ups, or low-res images. The AI reads the page content, so a clean page leads to a better video.

Step 2: Go to Link to Video and Paste Your URL

Navigate to Link to Video on FreeVideoGenerator. You'll see a field to paste your product URL. Do that, and the platform will fetch the product details.

Step 3: Customize Your Video Settings

After the URL is processed, you'll have options to customize the video. You can typically choose:

Aspect ratio (e.g., 9:16 for TikTok/Reels, 1:1 for feed, 16:9 for YouTube)
Duration (short clips for ads, longer for demos)
Style or tone (e.g., energetic, minimal, luxury)

Pick settings that match your ad platform. For dropshipping, vertical 9:16 is often best for social ads.

Step 4: Generate and Review

Hit generate. The AI will create a video based on the product URL and your settings. This usually takes a few minutes, but exact time varies. Once done, review the video. Check if the product is shown clearly, the text overlays are accurate, and the pacing feels right.

Step 5: Refine with Edits or Regenerate

If the first result isn't perfect, you have options:

Regenerate with different settings (e.g., change style or duration)
Use the built-in video editor to tweak text, trim, or add effects
Use the extend or upscale features to improve quality

Don't settle for the first draft. Generate a few variations to test in your ad campaigns.

Reusable Prompts and Parameter Tips

While Link to Video works automatically, you can sometimes provide additional input to guide the AI. Here are some tips:

Be specific in the product description: If your product page lacks detail, consider adding a brief description in the prompt field (if available) to highlight key selling points.
Use action-oriented language: Words like "unboxing," "demonstration," or "lifestyle" can influence the video's style.
Test different aspect ratios: Don't assume one ratio works everywhere. Run the same product in 9:16 and 1:1 to see which performs better on your ad platform.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Using a weak product page: If the page has little content, the video will be generic. Improve your product page first.
Ignoring the hook: The first 3 seconds matter. If the video starts slowly, viewers scroll past. Look for a video that opens with a strong visual or text hook.
Not testing variations: One video is not enough. Generate multiple versions to A/B test.
Forgetting to check brand consistency: The AI may not match your brand colors or fonts. Use the editor to adjust if needed.

Link to Video is powerful, but it works even better when combined with other tools on FreeVideoGenerator:

UGC Ad Video: Create authentic user-generated content style ads, which often convert well for dropshipping.
AI Product Image Generator: Generate clean product images to use in your videos or ads.
Pricing: Check current plans and credits to see what fits your budget.
