If you sell on Amazon FBA, you know video is the fastest way to boost conversions. But creating product videos from scratch is time-consuming and expensive. What if you could paste a product URL and get a ready-to-use video ad in minutes? That's exactly what an AI video generator with Link to Video can do. In this guide, I'll show you a practical workflow to turn any Amazon product URL into a compelling video, using the AI Video Studio from Van Gogh Studio (FreeVideoGenerator).

Why Use a Product URL to Video Generator?

Traditional video creation requires scripting, filming, and editing. For Amazon FBA sellers, that's a bottleneck. A product URL to video generator automates the heavy lifting: it pulls product details, images, and descriptions from your listing and transforms them into a video ad. This approach is faster, cheaper, and scales across multiple products.

Compared to manual video editing or hiring freelancers, using an AI generator saves you hours per video. It also ensures consistency across your product line. While you can use text-to-video or image-to-video tools, starting from a URL gives you the most accurate representation of your product.

Step-by-Step: Turn Your Amazon Product URL into a Video

Here's how to use the AI Video Studio at FreeVideoGenerator to create a product video from a URL.

Step 1: Sign Up and Get Your Free Credits

Go to freevideogenerator.io and create a free account. You'll receive 21 signup credits immediately—no credit card required. These credits are enough to generate a couple of videos, so you can test the workflow risk-free.

Step 2: Open the AI Video Studio

Navigate to the AI Video Studio. This is your all-in-one workspace for video generation. You'll see options for text-to-video, image-to-video, and Link to Video. Select Link to Video.

Step 3: Paste Your Amazon Product URL

Copy the URL of your Amazon product listing and paste it into the input field. The AI will analyze the page to extract product images, title, key features, and other details. Make sure the URL is publicly accessible (not behind a login) and points to a live product page.

Step 4: Choose Your Video Style and Parameters

After the URL is processed, you'll see options to customize your video. You can select a template or style, choose the aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9 for Amazon ads, 9:16 for social), and set the duration. The exact parameters depend on the model you pick—you can choose from multiple AI models like Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Runway, Wan, and Seedance. Check the live model selector for current options and limits.

Step 5: Generate and Review

Click the generate button. The AI will create a video using the product images and text from your URL. Once generated, preview it. If it's not perfect, you can iterate by tweaking the prompt or adjusting settings. The AI Video Studio also lets you apply effects, extend the video, or upscale it later.

Step 6: Download and Use

When you're satisfied, download the video in your preferred resolution. You can now upload it to your Amazon listing, social media, or ad campaigns. Remember that each video generation typically costs around 10 credits, but the exact cost depends on the model, duration, and resolution. Check the pricing page for details.

Reusable Prompts and Parameter Tips

While the Link to Video feature does most of the work, you can refine the output with a prompt. Here are a few templates to get you started:

Benefit-focused: "Highlight the key benefits of this product in a fast-paced, energetic style. Use close-ups of the product and bold text overlays."
Lifestyle: "Show this product being used in a real-life setting. Keep the tone warm and relatable."
Minimalist: "Create a clean, modern ad with a white background and subtle animations. Focus on the product's design."

Parameter tips: For Amazon ads, 16:9 is standard. For social media, 9:16 works best. Shorter videos (15-30 seconds) tend to perform better for ads. You can also use the motion control feature to add camera movements like zoom or pan.

Common Pitfalls to Avoid

Using a URL that's not accessible: If the product page requires login or is geo-blocked, the AI can't fetch it. Use a public URL.
Ignoring credit costs: Each video uses credits, so plan your budget. You can check your credit balance in the dashboard.
Not reviewing the output: AI-generated videos may have errors. Always preview and edit before publishing.
Forgetting to check model availability: Not all models support URL-to-video. Check the live selector to see which models work with Link to Video.

AI Text/Image to Video: If you don't have a URL, you can generate videos from text prompts or product images.
Link to Video: This is the specific feature we used, but you can also use it for non-Amazon URLs.
Pricing: Review current plans and credit costs to choose the best fit for your volume.
