AI 视频
A/B testing is the backbone of any successful app promotion campaign. You need to know which hook, visual style, or message resonates with your audience before you spend big on ads. But creating multiple video variants is time-consuming and expensive—especially if you're a solo founder or a small marketing team. That's where faceless YouTube AI videos come in. You can generate multiple ad creatives quickly, without showing your face, and test them on YouTube to see what works.
In this guide, I'll show you how to use Van Gogh Studio (FreeVideoGenerator) to create faceless AI videos for A/B testing your app promo. We'll focus on the AI Video Studio, which gives you access to multiple AI models in one place, so you can iterate fast.
Traditional A/B testing requires shooting multiple videos with actors, scripts, and editing. That's slow and costly. Faceless AI videos let you generate variations in minutes. You can test different:
By running these as YouTube ads or organic posts, you can gather data on what drives clicks and installs. Then, you can double down on the winning creative.
Before you generate anything, decide what you're testing. For app promo, common variables are:
Write down 2-3 variations for each variable. This will guide your prompts.
Go to AI Video Studio and sign in. You'll see a model selector. Van Gogh Studio gives you access to multiple models like Kling, Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Runway, and more. For A/B testing, you want consistency across variations, so stick to one model for all your test videos. Check the live model selector for current availability and parameters.
Write a detailed prompt for each video. Include:
For example, for a productivity app:
"A clean, modern smartphone on a desk, screen showing a task list app, a hand taps the screen, the list gets checked off, bright and optimistic lighting, 3D animation style, no text."
For a variation:
"A person in a busy cafe, looking at their phone, suddenly smiling as they check off tasks, realistic style, warm tones, no text."
Set your parameters (duration, resolution, etc.) and generate. Each video typically costs around 10 credits, but check the actual cost in the studio. Once generated, download the videos. You'll want to keep them organized by variation.
Upload your videos to YouTube as unlisted or public. Create a playlist or use YouTube's built-in A/B testing feature (if available) to split traffic. Alternatively, you can run them as ads in Google Ads with different ad groups.
Make sure each video has a clear tracking link (e.g., UTM parameters) so you can measure installs.
After a few days, check your analytics. Which video got more clicks? Which had a higher conversion rate? Use that data to refine your next batch of videos. You can iterate quickly because generating a new video takes minutes.
Here are three prompts you can adapt for your app:
Problem-Solution: "A person struggling with a cluttered schedule, then using a mobile app to organize tasks, the screen becomes clean, bright colors, fast-paced, no text."
Feature Highlight: "Close-up of a phone screen showing a unique feature of the app, with a finger tapping and the feature responding, sleek and modern, 3D render, no text."
Social Proof: "A group of friends laughing and using a phone together, one shows the app to others, they nod approvingly, warm and friendly, realistic style, no text."
Remember to specify the aspect ratio and duration based on your ad placement (e.g., 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Stories).
